Video: Gillette Wants You to Knock Off Your ‘Toxic Masculinity’

Razor company Gillette joined the social justice circus Monday, posting a video to its Facebook page warning men against “toxic masculinity.”
“We can’t hide from it. It’s been going on far too long. We can’t laugh it off, making the same old excuses,” the video said.
It then launches into clips from the #MeToo movement, saying that “something has finally changed.”
It features a male checking out a female on the street, and being stopped from doing so by his friend, and two young boys wrestling a backyard being separated by a man – both os which have been deemed unacceptable by Gillette’s marketing department. It also features a male employee explaining what a female employee meant to say on behalf of the female employee, a grave sin called “mansplaining,” which is totally unacceptable in civilized society.

The problem with Gillette’s idiotic display is that conflates two completely separate things: masculinity and sexual assault/sexual harassment. Traditional masculinity is good. Indeed, most women prefer traditionally masculine men, despite the verbal vomit spewed by petulant social justice freaks, or in this case, a male grooming company.
Sexual assault and harassment, on the other hand, are bad, and you shouldn’t do it.
The video has about 42,000 views and 1,400 shares. In relation to the company’s 2 million plus Facebook followers, it is a tiny minority.
