Cuomo Says Trump Has No ‘Facts on His Side’ With Google Bias #GreatAwakening

In their war against Trump, the liberal media have made sure to side with the big tech companies that promote their work.

On August 28’s Cuomo Prime Time on CNN, the brainless fearless Chris Cuomo, that beacon of unbiased light beaming from the horizon, stood up and explained to his audience that President Trump’s tweet about Google’s bias was not based on fact. After playing a sound bite of the President saying that Google was biased, Cuomo said, “Sound indefinite? More feeling than fact? That’s because it is. It’s actually almost completely devoid of any fact of apparent insight.”

Hoo boy, when Fredo Cuomo is calling out your facts, you must be wrong.

“It was on Fox last night,” Cuomo said. “And the president tweeted just this morning--what a coinkidink (sic). The charge is that when you Google Trump, if you look for Trump news, it shows mostly negative results. Frankly, I’d be more suspicious if the cache came back mostly positive.” Right, but Cuomo’s not biased at all, is he?

Cuomo continued, defending CNN as he went along, of course. “And as for the nasty bit about the sources, they’re dismissing CBS, Reuters, and of course, CNN, as niche agenda drivers, which ironically is what P.J. Media is. But I can tell you for free that this whole deal this morning was as much about distraction as it is about discovery of a pernicious practice by Google. This is what he does most. He finds something that can divide, that has a little bit of a fact gap, and he exploits it to advantage. Once again, the facts just aren’t on his side.”

NBC’s Nightly News With Lester Holt nodded along with CNN’s analysis, saying that the President had “no reliable data” to back his claim.

On MSNBC Live With Stephanie Ruhle, Ruhle continued the trend of referring to the Google bias story as a conspiracy theory, saying that the president “had kind of signed on to a lot of conspiracy theories. We can go back to birtherism, people cheering when the world trade center towers were coming down, something that was never proved.”

Ali Velshi on The 11th Hour With Brian Williams (talk about fact-based programming!) slammed the study from PJ Media that Trump cited, saying, “I’d welcome a real study about how these search results come up, but two computers isn’t it.” His guest, Bloomberg reporter Shannon Pettypiece, agreed, “No, there has not been any meaningful study, and part of the explanation for that might be because [Trump] considers liberal media to be essentially all major news organizations at this point.”

David Corn, head of Mother Jones, had some meaningful insight on The Last Word With Lawrence O’Donnell:

“You know, what strikes me today about the Google news episode at 5:00 am in the morning is that it makes clear that the thing that motivates Trump more than anything else is his own petty personal grievances. This guy is not 98% water like the rest of us. He’s 98% spite. That’s what motivates him, that’s what gets him up in the morning, and gets him into that office, or into the bathroom, and tweeting away.”

That’s right, the only reason Trump is pointing out that Google is only providing negative news on his presidency is out of sheer spite.
