THIS IS WAR: Pinterest, LinkedIn, MailChimp Remove Accounts Belonging to Alex Jones and Infowars

Early Monday morning, several social media platforms began to essentially erase Alex Jones and Infowars from the internet. In the span of 12 hours Spotify, then Apple, followed by Facebook and YouTube all began to delete content belonging to Infowars accounts, with some banning the new media empire from their platforms all together. The censorship and outright removal of Infowars from the world wide web hasn’t stopped there.

Pinterest also took down Infowars’ page on Monday after the account received multiple flagged hits, and on Tuesday LinkedIn removed the Infowars company page from their platform as well as MailChimp removing Jones’ account saying their terms of service don’t allow use of their service “to disseminate hateful content.” None of these platforms have offered examples of what hateful content prompted the removal or banning in the first place. Jones and Infowars have not had the opportunity to evaluate what’s been flagged or reported, and therefore do not have the ability to even defend what they’ve been accused of, nor can they attempt to change or retract what has been deemed as offensive.

Cnet.com reached out to LinkedIn for a comment on the removal and a spokesperson from the company offered the following statement:

“We have removed the InfoWars company page for violating our terms of service. We value the professional community on LinkedIn and strive to create a platform where the exchange of ideas by professionals can happen without harmful misinformation, bullying, harassment or hate.

We encourage our members to report any inappropriate content or behavior. We investigate and if it is in violation take action, which could include removing the content or suspending the account.”

Infowars is primarily a review and analysis of articles from OTHER news sources, where they discuss the top headlines and news stories from a conservative/libertarian prospective. They frequently address and expose inaccuracies in the mainstream media citing examples that are easily verified and often contradictory to the mainstream narrative.

“The coordinated corporate/media industrial complex attack on Infowars is election meddling and an attack on democracy,” Editor-at-large for Infowars, Paul Joseph Watson stated on his Twitter page Wednesday morning.

Alex Jones, Paul Joseph Watson, Rob Dew and others employed by Infowars still have access to their Twitter accounts, even though they’re heavily censored by way of shadowbanning. Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter posted this tweet on Tuesday in response to Infowars being “no platformed” off several social media sites:

Jones tweeted out a message to Jack Dorsey on his personal Twitter account early Wednesday morning concerning the purge:

Kim Dotcom @KimDotcom has hinted around at a new social media platform that would compete and possibly even dethrone Twitter & Facebook in a blog-style format where people would be able to share information, thoughts and opinions without all of the Orwellian censorship that’s being ABUSED now. KimDotcom tweeted Tuesday, “Twitter, Facebook, Google, you betray your users by helping the Deep State to spy on all, you politicize your platforms to manipulate public opinion, you shadowban, censor and attack free speech. Your tech is easy to replace and your users will leave you. Your days are numbered.”

The mainstream media is losing its grip on controlling the narrative and they’re in full panic mode trying to silence those who challenge their ability to continue to spin the information that is available to the public.

Funny though, all this has done is to create a textbook example of the Streisand effect, defined as, “a phenomenon whereby an attempt to hide, remove, or censor a piece of information has the unintended consequence of publicizing the information more widely, usually facilitated by the Internet.”

With the Infowars app now #1 on Google Play, Android users have proven their attempt to fully censor Alex Jones and Infowars is not only failing, it’s backfiring. Android users aren’t even able to see the #1 app in the Google Playstore. Watch what happens when Rob Dew @DewzNewz try to click on the #1 app:

Seems their attempt to control information is failing.

We ARE truly in an information war, and there IS a war on for your mind.
