First Lady’s Remarks on "Be Best" Initiative for Children at UN
The First Lady said: “Whether it's education, drug addiction, hunger, online safety, or bullying, poverty or disease, it is too often children who are hit first and hardest across the globe.” She said that each country has its own “unique challenges” but that we are all united in raising the next generation to be “happy, healthy, and morally responsible adults.”
The First Lady announced that she is scheduled to visit Ghana, Malawi, Kenya and Egypt in connection with the Be Best program.
