Democrat Congressional Staffer Arrested For Doxxing 3 GOP Senators, Worked in Sheila Jackson Lee’s Officers

The U.S. Captiol Police arrested a 27-year-old man for posting private information of senators, including addresses and phone numbers.

According to a report released by the D.C. police department, Jackson A. Cosko allegedly posted “private, identifying information (doxing) about one or more United States senators to the Internet.” The doxxing was posted on the senator’s Wikipedia pages late last week.

Cosko had been working as an intern in the office of Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX), but according to her chief of staff, Glenn Rushing, Cosko has been fired.

“We’re just cooperating with law enforcement right now,” Rushing said in an interview.

Cosko has been charged with making public restricted personal information, threats in interstate communications, witness tampering, identity theft, second degree burglary, unlawful entry, and unauthorized access of a government computer.

Cosko graduated from The George Washington University in 2014 and previously worked for Democratic Sens. Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire and California’s Barbara Boxer, who has since retired. Cosko most recently worked for Hassan as a “legislative correspondent/systems administrator,” according to Legistorm. Cosko left Hassan’s office in May.

Frank Thorp V (@frankthorp) tweeted on Wednesday, “Per , the suspect, Jackson Cosko, was most recently a Legislative Correspondent for . (Hassan also had the intern who yelled ‘F you!’ to Pres Trump in June)”

Alex Griswold posted a tweet Wednesday night with Cosko’s Dear Colleague letter written two weeks ago on behalf of Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee:
