FLASHBACK: Obama Said ‘Terrorists’ Were ‘Challenging Our Borders’ in 2006
Monday, President Donald J. Trump warned that there could be Middle Easterners among the now 14,000-person strong invading army heading north through Mexico to the United States, drawing criticism from the non-curious mainstream press.
“Sadly, it looks like Mexico’s Police and Military are unable to stop the Caravan heading to the Southern Border of the United States. Criminals and unknown Middle Easterners are mixed in. I have alerted Border Patrol and Military that this is a National Emergy. Must change laws!” Trump said.

Trending: WATCH: Dennis Rodman Defends Trump Against Allegations of Racism
“Experts” in the mainstream press like CNN’ resident homophobe Kaitlan Collins, CNN’s resident whiny dolt Jim Acosta and CNN’s resident fake news anchor Anderson Cooper all chastised Trump for making the claim “without evidence.” Cooper even ran a segment in which one reporter on the ground in Mexico said he hadn’t seen any Middle Easterners in the caravan. (That settle’s that). None of them considered the possibility that Trump, as leader of the free world, may possess military or other intelligence that they do not.
As it turns out, another president once made similar comments, drawing zero attention from the same press.
“Those who enter our country illegally and those who employ them disrespect the rule of law,” said then-Senator Barack H. Obama in 2006. “And because we live in an age where terrorists are challenging our borders, we cannot allow people to pour into the U.S. undetected. Americans are right to demand better border security.”
There was no feigned moral outrage when Obama made the same exact claim “without evidence.” The press never held it against him when he ran for president, or during the eight years that he was commander-in-chief.
It is almost like there is a double-standard in media. One that attacks conservatives but provides cover for liberals based on political expedience.
