Grassley Wants To Get The Communications Between Ford and Feinstein and Hirono

Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Chuck Grassley is demanding records of the conversations between Christine Blasey Ford and Democrat senators Dianne Feinstein and Mazie Hirono.

Grassley accuses Ford’s lawyers of withholding information, writing in his October 4 letter to the Ford legal team:

“I urge you once again, now for the third time in writing, to turn over the therapy notes, polygraph materials, and communications with The Washington Post that Dr. Ford has relied upon as evidence.”

“In addition to the evidence I requested in my October 2 letter, in light of recently uncovered information, please turn over records and descriptions of direct or indirect communications between Dr. Ford or her representatives and any of the following: (1) U.S. Senators or their staffs, particularly the offices of Senators Feinstein and Hirono, other than your communications with me and my staff in preparation for the September 27 hearings; (2) the alleged witnesses identified by Dr. Ford (Leland Keyser, Mark Judge, and Patrick “P.J.” Smyth); and (3) Debbie Ramirez, Julie Swetnick, or their representatives.”

BLP reported:

A Senator from Arkansas said Saturday that the office of Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) as well as the attorneys for Christine Blasey Ford will be investigated as part of the fallout from the Democrat smear of Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

“Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s office will be investigated to determine whether it leaked a confidential letter from one of Brett Kavanaugh’s accusers, Sen. Tom Cotton said Sunday,” according to a report. “Cotton, an Arkansas Republican, also said lawyers recommended to Christine Blasey Ford by Democrats will face a Washington, D.C., bar investigation for telling her that Senate Judiciary Committee staffers would not travel to California to interview her about her sexual-assault allegation.”

Both revelations – that Feinstein’s office likely leaked Ford’s confidential letter, and that her attorney’s failed to tell her that investigators would come to her in California – came from Ford’s testimony in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday.
