How a Warrior like Andrew Breitbart Gets Born
Andrew Breitbart’s Righteous Indignation: Excuse Me While I Save the World! was published just one year before his untimely death at 43 in 2012. In this book, Breitbart charts his political evolution, a critical point being the 1991 Supreme Court hearings for Clarence Thomas.
As he watched the TV coverage of the assault on Clarence Thomas’ character, Breitbart experienced an epiphany: “This was the exact point where I realized that it was not just that I disagreed with the Democratic Party but, more important, that the media were its dominant partner in crime. The national disgrace that was the Clarence Thomas confirmation hearings, for me, changed everything.”
Indeed, Breitbart dedicates his work to both his father, Gerald Breitbart, and Clarence Thomas.
Now Charlie Kirk in the title of an article published today in Breitbart News presciently asks: “Clarence Thomas’s ‘High Tech Lynching’ Awakened Andrew Breitbart; What will the Kavanaugh Witch Trial Produce?”
Kirk explains: “Little did the left know as they tried to destroy Clarence Thomas they were creating the most effective grassroots warrior against the left of our generation. And this last week with Kavanaugh, I can’t imagine how many more thousands of Andrew Breitbarts were born.”
Apparently Harris, Feinstein, Flake et al. do not realize, or have forgotten, how grassroot wariors are born and how they are each serving as midwife to the next Andrew Breitbart.
