HOWLEY: Kavanaugh Is A Turning Point For Conservatives To Finally Take Over For GOP Cowards
Big League Politics Editor-in-Chief Patrick Howley appeared on “The Conservative Cartel” radio show Thursday to give an update on the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation drama. Joining Matt Locke on the nationally syndicated show, Howley detailed the last-minute vote-guessing on Capitol Hill.
With the vote going down to the wire — dependent on the three RINO senators Flake, Collins, and Murkowski — Howley said that the Kavanaugh case is a “turning point” for the energized Republican base to finally lead the cowards on Capitol Hill in decision-making. Conservatives are not allowing Kavanaugh to be disgraced over completely unsubstantiated allegations. The will of the people is finally becoming the will of the party.

Democrat North Dakota senator Heidi Heitkamp will be voting NO on President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, keeping the vote in the Senate close.
Focus turns to West Virginia Democrat Joe Manchin, who is being pressured in his home state to vote for Trump’s pick. Republicans hold a 51-49 majority, but that includes RINO senators Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, and Jeff Flake.
If Manchin goes YES, then all three RINO’s — Flake, Collins, and Murkowski — would have to vote NO in order to derail Kavanaugh’s nomination by preventing a Mike Pence tiebreaker vote. If Manchin votes no, then only two out of the three RINO’s would have to vote NO in order to sink Kavanaugh.
Republican insurgent Rep. Kevin Cramer, who is running against Heitkamp in November, is seizing the opportunity to criticize his incumbent rival.
“A spokeswoman for Heitkamp’s campaign confirmed the embattled senator’s position on the high court nominee in a phone call with CNBC. Heitkamp first announced her position on the vote in an interview with local media outlet WDAY on Thursday.
In a statement released shortly after, Heitkamp said, “After doing my due diligence and now that the record is apparently closed, I will vote against his confirmation.”
Heitkamp, who had voted for Trump’s prior Supreme Court pick, Neil Gorsuch, also lashed out at lawmakers for their handling of Kavanaugh’s nomination.
“Both sides horribly handled the process around this nomination,” Heitkamp said. “We must learn from these mistakes.”
Heitkamp, facing re-election in a state President Donald Trump won by nearly 40 percentage points in 2016, is considered the most endangered Democrat in the Senate. She supported Justice Neil Gorsuch, President Donald Trump’s first Supreme Court pick, last year.
Heitkamp faces a difficult path to re-election against Republican Rep. Kevin Cramer, who along with national Republican groups had hammered the Democrat over her indecision on Kavanaugh. Two recent polls showed a double digit lead for the GOP representative.
Cramer,in a statement given first to CNBC, said: “I’m deeply disappointed with Senator Heitkamp’s decision to vote no on Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court. Clearly, she has decided to vote with Chuck Schumer, and not the people of North Dakota.”

Big League Politics reported in July:
Charles Koch is turning his back on the Republican Senate candidate in North Dakota, continuing his covert agitation against President Donald Trump and his policy allies.
Rep. Kevin Cramer of North Dakota is in the crosshairs for Koch, who is going after Republicans on the issue of “trade.” The Kochs are clearly hoping that his Democrat opponent Sen. Heidi Heitkamp wins and holds a seat up north for Chuck Schumer.
“He’s inconsistent across the board on these issues and that makes it hard to support him,” Americans For Prosperity president Tim Phillips stated.
“He’s not leading on the issues where this country needs leadership right now, issues like spending … or trade,” said Phillips.
“We can’t support him at this time and we’ve met with his team, explained this and lobbied them on this.”
The globalist Koch Brothers benefit in their business activities from a “free trade” agenda, and they refuse to acknowledge that other countries have been ripping off the United States for decades.
President Donald Trump recently used the threat of steel and aluminum tariffs to gain major concessions from the European Union, with the EU agreeing to buy massive amounts of American soy beans and other produce.
Trump also provided $12 billion in relief to farmers to defend against any retaliatory tariffs by other countries.
The Koch Brothers are disingenuously claiming that they are targeting Republicans who voted for the $1.3 trillion omnibus. That’s all a bunch of nonsense, because it was Paul Ryan and his cronies who snuck the omnibus through last time without allowing anyone to read it. Paul Ryan is a staunch Koch Brothers stooge, and the supposed budget wonk has done absolutely nothing as Speaker of the House to stop the federal government’s pattern of runaway spending.
The 2012 Will Ferrell movie “The Campaign” depicted the globalist “Macht Brothers” trying to import Chinese workers into the United States to staff a Chinese manufacturing plant in North Carolina.
