Illegal Alien From El Salvador Charged With Brutal Rape Of NY Woman

A previously deported illegal alien from El Salvador was charged with the brutal rape of a woman along with a long list of other charges, after an attack in Long Island, New York, where she was beaten unconscious and then raped.
Ever Martinez-Reyes, 24, was charged with sexual assault, rape and other assault charges and ordered to be held without bail during an arraignment on Saturday, according to Fox News.
According to Nassau Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder, Martinez-Reyes allegedly followed the woman around near Bishop Frank O. White Memorial Park, until he felt he would be able to get away with raping her.
“When he assaulted her and knocked her out, he then proceeded to rape her,” Ryder said. “She woke up and he knocked her out again and viciously continued to assault her.”

The victim, a 36-year-old mother of two, was approached from behind as she walked towards her home and was knocked unconscious. After reviewing the surveillance video from the victim’s uncle’s home, police determined that she had been raped while she laid unconscious.
“They can see it on the video but, you know, they couldn’t see his face,” the uncle said. “The attacker’s face, they couldn’t see it.”
Police say when the victim began to come to she realized she was being sexually assaulted, and the suspect fled in an unknown direction. The victim alerted family who then called the police.
Her mother recalled her daughter’s horrible account of the assault:
“‘Mommy, look what he did to me,'” she said. “‘He raped me. He raped me.'”
Neighbors were stunned and outraged, but noted that the area is dangerous at night. The attack happened around 1:30 a.m.
“There’s all different types of people that walk in this area,” Freeport resident Nehemiah Taylor said. “They look suspicious. They look like something’s going to happen.”
The victim was then transported to the hospital where she was treated for injuries, which included a broken jaw.
Police said the suspect and victim do not know each other.
If convicted, Reyes faces up to 25 years in prison.
