Mrs. Kavanaugh asks people of faith to pray Psalm 40
By her act, Church Militant (CM) points out that Ashley Kavanaugh “is putting her trust in God rather than princes--or in this case, senators.”
CM also rightly frames the Kavanaugh v Ford debacle “not merely a case of mistaken identity, but rather a spiritual battle for the soul of the country.”
Psalm 40: 13-14 reads:
"Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me, look down, O Lord, to help me. Let them be confounded and ashamed together, that seek after my soul to take it away. Let them be turned backward and be ashamed that desire evils to me."
