Paid protesters descend on Senate Building
On Thursday, while Senate Republicans asserted that Judge Kavanaugh should be confirmed to the Supreme Court, Democrats criticized the recent FBI investigation and thousands protested Judge Kavanaugh outside the Hart Senate Offices in Washington, D.C.
The protests that descended--and continue to descend--on the Senate Building could be described as a scene in Dante's Inferno or a depiction of hell in a Hieronymus Bosch painting.
The protesters apparently seek to perpetuate the narrative that Kavanaugh is a reprobate and unfit to serve on the Supreme Court--or to coach his daughter's basketball team. Protesters are sponsored by MoveOn.org which is funded by billionaire George Soros. Most protestors were women, including actress Emily Ratajkowski and comedian Amy Schumer.
Protesters chanted: "Hey hey. Ho ho. Kavanaugh has got to go" and carried placards reading: "Believe Women." and "Respect Female Existence or Expect our Resistence." Some wore T-shirts saying: "Make Integrity Great Again."
The Hill reported that almost 300 protesters were arrested.
"We believe all survivors" was also one of the placards. By that logic, Kavanaugh should be believed because he too is a survivor. But trying to reason with the protesters may be futile. Rush Limbaugh has said numerous times on his daily show that the left cannot be reasoned with. The left must be defeated.
Vote in November.
