PayPal Continues To Help Fund Illegal Migrant Caravans
The issue of illegal migrant caravans coming from Central America, through Mexico, towards the United States has reached a fever pitch.
With a caravan of over 7,000 migrants, and the government of Mexico either being unable, or refusing to stop them, the United States government is stepping up. President Donald Trump is sending troops to the border to secure it for their arrival, along with cutting aid to Central American countries with citizens involved in the caravan.
But while the President is working to stop it, payment processing service PayPal is still allowing the group organizing the caravan to fund-raise on their platform.
The group, Pueblo Sin Fronteras, which translated to “people without borders,” has a fundraising link using PayPal directly on their website.
Big League Politics reported on this during the initial caravan back in May, and attempted to get a response from PayPal to no avail, reporting:
Big League Politics informed PayPal about the group hosting a link to a PayPal account accepting donations to support the caravans.
@PayPal @AskPayPal I think this group is violating your Acceptable Use Policy by using funds to coordinate caravans of individuals to break U.S. Immigration law. https://t.co/QfbmpVWMDR

After a series of private messages, and a promised email response that never came, the PayPal account of the group appears to be up and active. Not only that, they created another account for the express written purpose of supporting the caravans.
The group actively helping people illegally caravan across Mexico to the United States border seems to be in violation of PayPal’s own Acceptable Use Policy, stating:
You may not use the PayPal service for activities that:
- violate any law, statute, ordinance or regulation.
This was told to PayPal, who promised to escalate this situation, but has since gone silent for nearly a month.
In recent weeks, questions have been raised around who is funding the caravan.
Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) posted a video appearing to show women and children in Honduras being paid to join the caravan.
BREAKING: Footage in Honduras giving cash 2 women & children 2 join the caravan & storm the US border @ election time. Soros? US-backed NGOs? Time to investigate the source! pic.twitter.com/5pEByiGkkN

While it is unclear if there is any major donor funding from people like George Soros, who is known to donate to far-left causes. It is clear that there is some kind of funding coming through PayPal.
PayPal still has not responded to requests for comment from Big League Politics. This story will be updated if any response is given.
