WATCH: Donald Trump Jr. Concerned For His Sons More Than His Daughters In The #MeToo Era

In the era of the #MeToo movement, Donald Trump Jr. is more concerned about his son’s futures than he is the futures of his daughters, and with good reason.

In an exclusive interview with The Daily Mail, President Donald Trump’s eldest son said in reference to the sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, “I’ve got boys, and I’ve got girls. And when I see what’s going on right now, it’s scary.” When asked if he’s more worried for his sons or his daughters, Trump Jr. said, “I mean, right now, I’d say my sons.”

“For the people who are real victims of these things, when it is so obviously political in cases like this, it really diminishes the real claims,” he said.

Trump Jr. and his girlfriend, former prosecutor and Fox News co-host Kimberly Guilfoyle, are featured in their first ever joint interview, airing in two parts on Monday and Tuesday, and only available on DailyMailTV. The interview was conducted during a Montana campaign swing for Republican U.S. Senate candidate Matt Rosendale in his challenge against Democratic Senator Jon Tester in the November midterm election.

Guilfoyle says she believes Americans should “give sexual assault accusers a fair hearing,” but the former prosecutor also stresses that political motivations should be taken into account in cases like Kavanaugh’s.

“I think it’s important, in terms of doing an investigation, to get the facts out there and find out,” Guilfoyle said.

“It’s very tough thirty five years later, but it doesn’t mean it should be ignored.”

“People need to be careful to understand the politics involved as well, and what motivations people may have,” Guilfoyle said.

Trump Jr. is father to 5 children (2 daughters and 3 sons) and said he believed Kavanaugh’s version of events when he presented them last Thursday to the Senate Judiciary Committee, which placed a 7-day delay on the final Senate floor vote as the FBI launched it’s 7th investigation into Kavanaugh’s past.

The president showed his continued support for his nominee tweeting on Friday, “Just started, tonight, our 7th FBI investigation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh. He will someday be recognized as a truly great Justice of The United States Supreme Court!”

President Trump tweeted on Sunday about the “time” and “scope” of the new FBI investigation into Kavanaugh:

“Wow! Just starting to hear the Democrats, who are only thinking Obstruct and Delay, are starting to put out the word that the “time” and “scope” of FBI looking into Judge Kavanaugh and witnesses is not enough. Hello! For them, it will never be enough – stay tuned and watch!”
