Facebook Threatens To Delete More Conservative Pages – 3 Days Before Midterms

Facebook sent a notification to the admins of ‘Donald Trump Is Our President’ and ‘Hillary Clinton for Prison’ informing them their pages and personal Facebook accounts may be deleted.

The husband and wife team behind the immensely popular ‘Donald Trump Is Our President’ and “Hillary Clinton for Prison’ Facebook pages posted an email they received from the Big Tech giant to the platform on Saturday. Facebook’s message explained that the two stand accused of using multiple accounts, and posting links that redirect Facebook users to what the platform calls “ad farms” – an excuse they previously used to delete 800 political accounts and pages.

Mark Sidney, who started the pages with his wife, claims that he never violated any of these rules. After first attempting to reply to Facebook’s email to no avail, Sidney took to his page ‘Donald Trump Is Our President”,  which boasts nearly 3.3 million likes, to write a lengthy response to Facebook and appealed to the company to open a line of communication.

We just got an email from Facebook threatening to delete my account, my wife's account and the pages we spent 6 years of…

According to Sidney, he and his wife have never used any Facebook account except for the ones tied to their real name and location. They run their own website with modest advertisements, and post the popular links to various Facebook pages and groups they created or help manage.

In an attempt to comply with Facebook’s threat to delete his pages and account, Sidney says he and his wife will stop posting all external links to his page until Facebook informs him how he can become compliant with Facebook’s Community Guidelines.

This threat of censorship comes just one day after an FEC complaint was filed against Facebook by Americans for Legal Immigration PAC. The complaint accuses Facebook, Google, and Twitter of violating election law by selectively banning or otherwise censoring conservative while allowing leftist voices to thrive.
