LOSER OF THE DAY: Alec Baldwin
Actor Alec Baldwin was arrested Friday after he allegedly roughed up another man in a fight over a parking spot while in New York, according to police.
The incident happened around 1:45 p.m. in front of his 10th Street building, the NYPD said. The 49-year-old victim told police he was injured during the fight with Baldwin.
“He’s not sure if he was punched or exactly how he was injured in the altercation,” an NYPD spokeswoman said.
Allegedly, the victim, in a black Saab Turbo X took a parking spot that an unidentified relative of Baldwin was holding for the actor’s black Cadillac SUV, which enraged the actor. When the driver of the Saab hopped out to feed the meter, Baldwin lost it and began to yell, “What do you think you’re doing,!?” according to a construction worker who declined to be named.

“Alec was yelling ‘Shut the f**k up!,” the construction worker said.
Yelling turned into shoving, and finally 60-year-old Baldwin began to repeatedly swing on the 49-year-old victim.
Parking tickets were spotted on both vehicles after the altercation, according to witnesses.
The victim complained of pain and was taken to Lenox Hill Hospital for evaluation, law enforcement sources told NBC New York.
“He just got into an altercation with someone over a parking [spot],” said one witness to the Friday afternoon fight outside Baldwin’s building in the Village, and would only identify himself as Albert. “It’s like a scene from ‘Goodfellas.’”
Baldwin was arrested for misdemeanor assault, and taken to the NYPD’s 6th Precinct station house in Greenwich Village, police said.
