Menendez Corruption Trial Juror Attends Senate Reelection Party
A juror in Sen. Bob Menendez’s (D-N.J.) corruption trial attended his reelection party on Tuesday night.
“Among the supporters tonight @SenatorMenendez’s HQ is Evelyn Arroyo-Maultsby, a juror on his federal corruption trial. She achieved some fame when she left the jury last year during deliberations to go on vacation. She would’ve voted for acquittal,” said Scott Fallon of North Jersey.

Menendez escaped his corruption charges in November of 2017 after he allegedly exchanged political favors for gifts from a wealthy eye doctor.
Big League Politics reported:
Menendez has been embattled in a child prostitution and corruption scandal for much of his current Senate term, though he was recently acquitted of charges against him.
“The prostitution claims, first reported by The Daily Caller in 2012, suggested Menendez and his co-defendant on bribery charges, eye doctor and businessman Salomon Melgen, traveled to the Dominican Republic to have sex with prostitute,” according to U.S. News & World Report.
The last thing that Menendez wants is to answer for these heinous allegations in the context of the Brett Kavanaugh nomination hearings. Unlike the claims against Kavanaugh, claims against Menendez were corroborated, even though the government never pursued sex crime charges against him.
“Presented with specific, corroborated allegations that defendants Menendez and Melgen had sex with underage prostitutes in the Dominican Republic, the Government responsibly and dutifully investigated those serious allegations,” prosecutors said.
Instead, the feds attempted to prosecute Menendez for corruption, claiming that he accepted bribes from Melgen in exchange for political favors.
