WaPo: Kavanaugh Coaching Youth Basketball is ‘Public Safety’ Matter

Jeff Bezos’ blog, commonly called The Washington Post, filed a recent story about Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh returning to coach girls basketball under their “public safety” category, first reported by The Hill.

Kavanaugh reportedly returned to coaching his daughters’ basketball team over the Thanksgiving holiday. During his confirmation hearings, power-hungry Democrats slandered him with unprovable accusations of sexual misconduct, destroying his public image and leaving him to question whether he would ever be able to return to that activity.

National Republican Senatorial Committee member Logan Dobson first noticed the Washington Post’s shady tag on Twitter:

He attached a second Tweet showing other stories that were part of the “public safety” category. All of them involved serious crimes or death. In the same company as the Kavanaugh headline was a headline that read “Man slain Monday night in Shaw area of Northwest.” So, in the eyes of WaPo, Kavanaugh coaching girls basketball is somehow relatable to homicide.

“A spokesperson for The Washington Post said stories written by the author of the piece on Kavanaugh automatically default to the public safety category,” The Hill reported. “The spokesperson said the story on Kavanaugh should not have been and that it would no longer appear under that category.”

Kavanaugh was confirmed to serve as America’s newest Supreme Court Justice by a 51-49 margin in early October, despite the despicable display by Democrats. Appointments to the Supreme Court last for the life of the appointee.
