WATCH: MLK Jr.’s Niece Alveda King Urges Americans To Vote Pro-Life
Niece of slain civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr., Alveda King released a variety of election videos on Monday that each contain her message to American voters on the eve of the important midterm elections: Vote pro-life.
“Have you voted yet? If so, I pray you voted for prolife candidates. If not, as an American citizen, don’t miss out on exercising your Civil Right to vote. Many people marched and risked our lives for this freedom to cast our votes,” King says. “So, if you haven’t done so yet, please go to the polls tomorrow and vote Prolife. Life is our first Civil Right. A vote for Life strikes a blow to injustice.”
“We must fight and vote for freedom for everyone; for the womb to the tomb,” Alveda continues.”Martin Luther King, Jr. once demanded: ‘Give us the ballot!’ Before his death, my beloved mentor, Pastor Allen McNair said: “Don’t Vote for Sin!’ Whatever the outcome tomorrow, do your part. Vote for Life.”
Alveda King, who is the Director of Civil Rights for the Unborn for Priests for Life, released the series of 30-second videos to urge voters to choose a pro-life candidate in each race that will be decided on November 6th.

The videos were produced by the American Potential Fund and urged Americans to “Vote for a Greater America;” “Vote Your Faith;” and “Vote for Pro-Life Candidates.”
King’s videos also draw inspiration from both Psalms 139:14 and Jeremiah 1:5, asserting that “A vote for life makes America greater.”
“Please watch these videos and share them on your social media accounts,” Ms. King said. “We are obligated to do whatever we can to protect each soul.”
“These videos get to the heart of what’s most important in this and every election: Life,” said Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life. “There is no issue more important. In fact, this is the one issue that is at the heart and core of every other issue.”
