MSNBC Host: Life is ‘Pointless’ Because of ‘Climate Change’

MSNBC’s Katy Tur had an existential crisis on national television Tuesday while discussing a New Yorker article on climate change.
“I read that New Yorker article today and I thought gosh, how pointless is my life,” she said. “And how pointless are the decisions that I make on a day-to-day basis when we are not focused on climate change every day, when it’s not leading every one of our newscasts?”
If “climate change” led every newscast, the industry would be out of business for failure to cover relevant topics, similarly to what happened to NeoConservative Weekly Standard, whose out-of-touch writers spent too much time longing for the days of authoritarian rule by the elite in Washington D.C.
Seemingly out of thin air, “climate change” has been thrust into the national news spotlight over the past few weeks.

It first appeared after President Donald J. Trump defied members of his administration who think we’re all going to die in a “Day After Tomorrow” type apocalypse if we don’t quit driving cars and using plastic straws. At the G20 Summit in Argentina, Trump refused to sign a climate pact with other heads of state. In France, President Emmanuel Macron was forced to reconsider a gas tax that was to be implemented in the name of reducing fuel emissions after angry protestors and rioters nearly burned Paris to the ground.
After all of this, it appears that Tur has decided that life is meaningless.
