Many people speculated as to the president’s whereabouts because he hadn’t sent a tweet in over 18 hours.
According to the NY Post:
“No press aides were in the media office and lights were turned off on the second floor where White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has her office.”
That fact did not stop NBC News and People Magazine, among others, from publishing false news articles, saying that President Trump did not visit U.S. troops.
Wednesday’s visit to Iraq was Trump’s first to visit active-duty troops in the middle east while President.
