Sorry CNN, Nobody Is Getting Court-Martialed Over President Trump Signing MAGA Hats

The Air Force confirms that nobody violated any rules when President Donald Trump signed MAGA hats for active-duty military servicemen in Iraq, despite online and televised CNN segments trying to create scandal out of the event.

“There is no rule against Airmen bringing personal items to be signed by the president. Any time the commander in chief offers the opportunity to meet with Airmen, such as this official holiday visit by the President and First Lady, Airmen are welcome to participate. No policy violations have been brought to our attention at this time,” the Air Force said in a statement.

This might be a new low for CNN, but it’s hard to tell. This is the network that blackmailed a Reddit user named Han A**hole Solo into hiding and giving up his great talent for making pro-Trump memes. This is the network that showed up on the front lawn of a nice older lady who they said shared some Russian stuff on Facebook. This is the network of Jim Acosta. This is the network on which Don Lemon got drunk on the air. This is the network of Brian Stelter. Shall we go on? Can we bear to go on?

I have been highlighting the real problem with CNN for a long time, including in my feature interview on Chuck Woolery’s Blunt Force Truth Podcast.

The problem with CNN is that it is the Airport network, the first thing travelers see when they get off the plane and come to this country (assuming they are not running over the southern border). It is also an international network, which convinces vast cross-sections of the world that America is in some kind of apocalyptic doomsday scenario on account of President Donald Trump.

America may well be in some kind of doomsday scenario, but — contrary to CNN’s reporting — Trump is actually the person who is preventing us from going off the clip.

CNN breeds division, hysteria, and completely idiotic news cycles. It is a plague on media, and on responsible civilization.

I outlined some of my thoughts on CNN here:
