State Department Phone Thief: ‘No Known Fixed Address,’ Gave ‘False Identity to Police’
The man who was arrested for stealing phones out of two State Department offices remains a man of mystery at this time.
Joel Enriquez-Bueno, listed as 42 years of age, allegedly broke into U.S. State Department offices in both Arlington, Virginia and also Washington, D.C. and stole cellphones and other “electronic equipment,” according to the Washington Post. The paper reported that Enriquez-Bueno attempted to sell his stolen goods. The Post also reported that Enriquez-Bueno has “no known fixed address.”
Enriquez-Bueno was arrested for the following crimes: grand larceny, grand larceny with intent to sell, breaking and entering, giving a false identity to police.
