White House Places Some Nice Pushback into Ocasio-Cortez’s ‘Sixty Minutes’ Segment on Racism
President Donald Trump’s White House got a nice statement into the Sixty Minutes segment Sunday featuring socialist Democrat star Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Ocasio-Cortez asserted that President Trump is a racist, accusing the commander in chief of using “dog whistles” to encourage white supremacy. But the White House was not having it. Look at their response, included in Anderson Cooper’s segment, accusing the new congresswoman of “ignorance” and pointing to Trump’s historic signing of the criminal justice reform bill — an accomplishment that Barack Obama never made, even with a Democrat supermajority for two years.
