GROSS: Democrats Block Infanticide Ban In Senate, 2020ers Lead The Way
The US Senate has voted against protection of babies born after a botched abortion – leaving them to die alone on the table.
In a 53-44 vote tonight, the Senate couldn’t surpass the Democratic led filibuster that was prohibiting a vote on the Born-Alive Abortion Survivor Protection Act. The 60 votes needed to end the filibuster were blocked by Senate Democrats, with every Republican Senator present voting to move forward with the bill.
After calling on Congress to make infanticide illegal at his State of the Union Address, President Trump expressed his disappointment with the Senate.
Senate Democrats just voted against legislation to prevent the killing of newborn infant children. The Democrat position on abortion is now so extreme that they don’t mind executing babies AFTER birth….

Ending the filibuster would allow the Senate to vote on the actual bill, the Born-Alive Abortion Survivor Protection Act. If passed, the bill would “prohibit a health care practitioner from failing to exercise the proper degree of care in the case of a child who survives an abortion or attempted abortion.”
Not surprisingly, every Democratic Senator running for President in 2020, voted not to end the filibuster. Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, Elizabeth Warren, Kirsten Gillibrand and Bernie Sanders, all voted in favor of allowing infanticide to be legal.
