Illegal Charged with Raping Child in Louisiana
A twice-deported illegal alien living in Louisiana pleaded guilty to one count of re-entry of a removed alien after being arrested for allegedly raping a child, among a litany of other crimes.
“According to the guilty plea, West Monroe police arrested [Eliezer] Merino-Tetlactle on August 23, 2018 for carnal knowledge of a juvenile, computer aided solicitation of a minor, possession of marijuana and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile,” according to a Department of Justice press release.
“His background check showed that he was an illegal alien who had been previously removed from the United States twice,” the release continued.
Merino-Tetlactle, 25, is a legal resident of Mexico.
The report said that the re-entry in itself is punishable by two years in jail, one year of supervised release, and a fine of $250,000. Merino-Tetlactle will be prosecuted further for the other crimes.
