Nurses Fired for Allegedly ‘Improperly Reviewing’ Jussie Smollett’s Medical Records
Dozens of employees have been fired from Northwestern Memorial Hospital for allegedly “improperly reviewing” Jussie Smollett’s medical records, according to a local news report.
“Sources said those workers have been terminated after gaining access to the ‘Empire’ actor’s medical chart,” the report said. “One of the nurses said it was a misunderstanding, and claimed she never even accessed Smollett’s chart, but she was fired last week and believes many other nurses and staffers were fired for the same reason.”
The nurse claimed that she did not improperly view the records, but rather scrolled past them, and when looking for another patient’s records. She believes the other fired nurses might have done the same.
Smollett was first admitted to the hospital after claiming that he had been attacked in Chicago by two Trump supporters, whom he said poured bleach on him and tied a rope around his neck. After a lengthy investigation, police determined that he paid two friends – both fellow “Empire” cast members – to stage the attack.
He has since been charged with felony disorderly conduct, which encompasses falsified hate crimes in Illinois.

Jussie Smollett is officially being charged for orchestrating his hate hoax.
The County Attorney’s Office approved a charge of disorderly conduct against Smollett Wednesday night, after Chicago police spent the day presenting evidence related to the matter to a grand jury.
Individuals can be charged with disorderly conduct in Illinois for filing false police reports, which was exactly what Smollett did according to all indications.
The cooperation of the two Osundairo brothers, who admitted to having been hired by Smollett to carry out the hoax, was likely instrumental in demonstrating the need for criminal charges in the matter to either the county attorney or grand jury.
