Other Universe: Estrella TV Tars Jared Kushner As 'Anti-Immigrant Czar' #BreakingNews #RedPillPharma

Estrella TV’s recent coverage of an immigration proposal to be rolled out this week is so over-the-top that it makes Univision look reasonable in comparison.

Compare Estrella TV anchor Adriana Yañez’ wild introduction to coverage of the Kushner plan to that of Jorge Ramos on Univision below:

ADRIANA YANEZ, ANCHOR, NOTICIERO ESTRELLA TV: And Donald Trump’s son-in-law wants to become the White House’s anti-immigrant czar. His racist proposal, with which he expects to solve the border crisis, will be introduced next week. Armando Guzman brings us all the details.

JORGE RAMOS, SENIOR NEWS ANCHOR, UNIVISION: President Trump could receive a new immigration proposal. Its main author is his son-in-law and advisor Jared Kushner, who summed up the plan’s general ideas in a recent interview. Janet Rodriguez tells us what they are, and how Democrats might react.

Yañez deserves a modicum of credit, at least, for being transparently biased as opposed to the sustained effort it takes to try to kill any talk of immigration reform by a thousand cuts. If your business model requires steady inflows of immigrants, then any proposal to curtail illegal immigration is going to get the off-the-top-rope treatment as does Kushner’s here.

What, in Yañez’ view, is so racist about the Kushner plan? Apparently, ideas such as biometric ID’s, border security and merit-based immigration are what make Kushner a prime candidate to be Trump’s “anti-immigration czar”, never mind that the plan also calls for increased immigration via work visas, something that runs counter to President Trump’s original campaign promises.

So bad was Estrella’s report that Univision is made here to look like a paragon of balanced journalism. Jorge Ramos’ reasonable introduction was followed by a balanced piece that discussed the proposal, and featured spokespeople for both sides of the story.

Now there’s something you don’t see every day.
