#Breaking Cory Booker Compares the Fight for Gun Control to the Civil Rights Movement #RedPillPharma
2020 Presidential candidate Senator Cory Booker compares his gun control plan to the Civil Rights Movement.
Booker told ABC News on “This Week” that “People thought [civil rights legislation] was impossible, but they changed the terms of the debate by expanding the moral imagination of this country.”
BLP reported on Booker’s newly unveiled plan, which consists of universal background checks, mandatory gun licensing, and magazine bans.
The New Jersey Senator is not satisfied with how slow Congress is moving and declared that he will not stand idly as gun violence becomes “normalized.”

He later said, “In my short time on this planet, 50 years, we’ve had more people killed by gun violence than every single war combined from the Revolutionary War through World War I, World War II, Vietnam.”
In his view, America has done nothing to address gun violence.
And what have we done? Massacre in the synagogue. We do nothing. Massacre here in South Carolina in a church. We do nothing. Massacre in my mom’s city of Las Vegas. We do nothing.
According to The Daily Caller, Booker is even considering measures to use the Internal Revenue Service to investigate the NRA and its tax-exempt status. This is part of Booker’s plan to bring “the fight to the NRA like never before.”
New Jersey is one of the most anti-gun states in the country and has been a leader in the gun control movement during the past few decades.
So far, Booker and Congressman Eric Swalwell have been the most vociferous advocates for gun control among the 2020 presidential candidates.
