#Breaking DENIAL: Pelosi Says Russia Case ‘Not Closed’ #RedPillPharma

The Speaker of the United States House of Representatives said Tuesday that the case of Russian “collusion” into the 2016 presidential election is not closed, despite the fact that the investigation is over, and President Donald J. Trump was cleared of any wrongdoing.

“That’s just not a fact. The case is not closed,” Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said.

She was responding to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) who said it was “case closed” as the Senate opened on Tuesday.

Democrats have been agitated ever since Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III submitted a lengthy report on his two-year investigation, clearing Trump of both “collusion” and obstruction of justice. Attorney General William P. Barr released a four-page summary of the report,  and then subsequently a redacted version of the report. He testified in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee last week about his findings, but bucked the House Judiciary Committee, refusing to appear before them the following day.

The political left is unhappy that the investigation did not turn up the results for which they were hoping, and they have been taking their frustrations out on Barr.

Big League Politics reported:

Senate Democrats lashed out at Attorney General William Barr at a Senate hearing today, seeking to blame him for the failure of Robert Mueller’s investigation to demonstrate collusion between Donald Trump’s 2016 Presidential campaign and the Russian government.

Barr increasingly is being made a scapegoat for the nothingburger of the two-year investigation. Democrats are calling for the Attorney General’s impeachment, claiming that the recently confirmed lawyer is acting as President Trump’s personal advocate.

New York Democrat Jerrold Nadler threatened to hold Attorney General Barr in contempt of Congress during proceedings Thursday, likening President Trump to a dictator. Barr had testified before Congress on Wednesday, declining to repeat the same experience on Wednesday.

Democrats allege that Barr blunted the political impact of the Mueller report by summarizing its results before the full report was published days later.
