#RealNews Algerian Man, Three Others Arrested in Lyon Terror Attack #RedPilling

French authorities announced Monday that they have arrested four people in connection to last week’s bombing in Lyon, which injured 13.

“French police have arrested a 24-year-old Algerian computer student suspected of planting a bomb in Lyon last week that wounded 13 people, authorities said Monday,” according to CBC. “Three other people were also arrested in connection with the case, which is being treated as a terrorism investigation.”

Two of the other suspects in custody are the man’s mother and brother.

Police used security footage which showed the man wheeling a bicycle to the scene of the crime shortly before the bomb – made with metal balls and screws – exploded outside a popular bakery. Subsequent footage showed the masked man walking away from the scene of the crime.

“It’s a relief for all Lyon inhabitants. I believe the case has been resolved,” Lyon Mayor Gerard Collomb reportedly said. “If there was a network, it has been identified and will certainly be dismantled.”

The suspect’s name has not been released.

Lyon is France’s third-largest city.

EuroNews spoke with Canadian travel writer Kathy Buckworth, who is currently in Lyon.

“I was a block away and I heard it. They locked us in the store. I came out 10 minutes later and the police etc were arriving,” she reportedlysaid.

She described the explosion as “like a bomb, extremely loud.”
