AOC will “NEVER” Apologize For Ignorant Concentration Camp Comments #TeamBongino
Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) says she will “never apologize” for her ignorant and destructive comments on the U.S. border and concentration camps.
Taking to Twitter yesterday, the lawmaker wrote, “DHS ripped 1000s of children from their parents & put them in cages w inhumane conditions. They call their cells ‘dog pounds’ & ‘freezers. I will never apologize for calling these camps what they are. If that makes you uncomfortable, fight the camps – not the nomenclature.”
Ocasio-Cortez was responding to an article about House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) who said she should apologize “not only to the nation but to the world.”
“I think Congresswoman AOC needs to apologize,” McCarthy said, during a press conference yesterday. “Not only to the nation but to the world. She does not understand history.”
“She does not understand what is going on at the border at the same time. But there is no comparison…and to actually say that is embarrassing,” he continued.
“To take somewhere in history where millions of Jews died…and equate that to somewhere that’s happening on the border…she owes this nation an apology.”
Earlier this week, Ocasio-Cortez claimed in a video on social media, “The U.S. is running concentration camps on our southern border and that is exactly what they are and um, if that doesn’t bother you I don’t…I like…we can have OK whatever…I want to talk to the people that are concerned enough with humanity that ‘never again’ means something…”Yesterday, one of the world’s leading Holocaust museums fired back at Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) after she made the disgraceful claim.
Yad Vashem: The World Holocaust Remembrance Center in Jerusalem tweeted the Congresswoman this morning, “@AOC Concentration camps assured a slave labor supply to help in the Nazi war effort, even as the brutality of life inside the camps helped assure the ultimate goal of ‘extermination through labor.’ Learn about concentration camps.”
The tweet included a link to an article about concentration camps.
