Fairfax Pleased With Name ID After Rape Allegations, Might Run for Governor #RedPills

Virginia’s Democrat Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax is all-too-happy that allegations of rape levied against him by two women have made him more famous, and is now considering running for governor.

“Many people a year ago would not have recognized me, now they really do,” Fairfax reportedly said. “People come up to me at gas stations, they say, ‘Hey, we recognize you. We love you. We know what they are saying about you is false.'”

Big League Politics first reported that Scripps College professor Vanessa Tyson accused Fairfax of sexually assaulting her at the 2004 Democratic National Convention. Later, a second accuser named Meredith Watson said that Fairfax raped her when the pair were classmates at Duke University.

Fairfax, bucking the Democratic Party dogma of “believing all women,” has been defiant in the face of the allegations, maintaining his innocence. Now he might run for governor.

“Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax said Thursday that he is ‘very hopeful about the future’ and ‘thinking very seriously’ about a gubernatorial run in 2021,” according to The Richmond Times-Dispatch.

Meanwhile, Tyson’s legal team is on offense, attacking Fairfax over his cavalier attitude towards his accusers.

Big League Politics reported:

Debra Katz and Lisa Banks issued a statement Thursday blasting Fairfax for his “lack of respect for survivors of sexual violence.”

Here is Tyson’s team’s statement:

“Lieutenant Governor Fairfax’s letter to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office is another political stunt that shows his lack of respect for survivors of sexual violence.  As a former prosecutor, the Lieutenant Governor certainly knows that potential targets of criminal investigations do not get to direct prosecutorial decisions.  Like the bogus demand he made in February 2019 for the FBI to investigate Dr. Vanessa Tyson’s sexual assault allegations against him, Lieutenant Government Fairfax knows full well that his demands that the District Attorney take action will go unanswered.  Despite his protestations about the unfairness of litigating such serious allegations in the press, his letter’s distorted presentation of facts is intended to do just that.”
