OLIVE BRANCH: President Trump Offers to Meet Kim Jong-un in Korean Demilitarized Zone #RedPills
Relations between North Korea and the United States have worsened considerably in recent weeks, as Chairman Kim Jong-un has gone on the offensive against members of the Trump administration.
“It would be difficult to look forward to the improvement of bilateral relations and denuclearization of the Korean peninsula as long as American politics are dominated by the policy-makers who have an inveterate antagonism towards the DPRK,” North Korea’s statement read, referring to itself as the acronym for Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
“If anyone dares to trample over our sovereignty and the right to existence, we will never hesitate to pull a muscle-flexing trigger in order to defend ourselves,” they added.
While the two sides may be at odds, President Donald Trump’s strong personal relationship with Kim has nevertheless endured. Trump made an appeal to Kim on Twitter this evening to meet with him during his current travels in Asia in the Korean demilitarized zone.
After some very important meetings, including my meeting with President Xi of China, I will be leaving Japan for South Korea (with President Moon). While there, if Chairman Kim of North Korea sees this, I would meet him at the Border/DMZ just to shake his hand and say Hello(?)!

“I’m gonna be there for a day. I understand that’s one of the places I’ll be visiting,” Trump said while being interviewed by The Hill on Monday.
Trump hinted that he would be open to meeting Kim during that interview, which he confirmed today on Twitter.
Trump is currently representing his nation at the G20 summit in Osaka, Japan where he hasn’t missed an opportunity to hit his Democratic opposition.
I am in Japan at the G-20, representing our Country well, but I heard it was not a good day for Sleepy Joe or Crazy Bernie. One is exhausted, the other is nuts – so what’s the big deal?

He held a substantial summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin earlier today, which enraged his deep state and mainstream media critics. He intends to follow up that diplomatic triumph with a meeting with Kim.
It is possible that Kim may substantiate, as North Korea recently expressed their frustration with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. North Korea blamed Pompeo for “sophistry” and making statements “full of falsehoods and fabrications.” They also accused him of “talking nonsense” and being “reckless” in conducting negotiations on Trump’s behalf.
Trump is taking negotiations into his own hands, and not a moment too soon. Bringing peace to the Koreas could end up being Trump’s signature achievement, showing his incredible prowess as a deal-maker while demonstrating that extending the olive branch works better than the belligerent, neoconservative foreign policy approach of his predecessors.
