REPORT: Mexico Sending 15,000 Troops to U.S. Border #RedPills

A Monday report from CNN’s Nick Valencia said that Mexico has deployed 15,000 troops to its northern border with the United States in order to keep slow migration.

“BREAKING- Mexico has deployed almost 15,000 troops to the US-Mexico border to curve migration flow. An additional ~2,000 National Guard elements have also been deployed across the country’s southern border with Guatemala & Belize.: MX Secretary of Defense Luis Sandova,” Valencia said on Twitter.

The move appears to be linked to an effort on behalf of Mexico to stave off tariffs threatened by President Donald J. Trump if the country continues to let migrants flow through unfettered into the United States. Two weeks ago, Mexico agreed to station troops at its own southern border to halt the influx of Central American migrants.

Meanwhile, Trump is seeking to bring Democrats to the negotiating table to address the illegal immigration crisis. He vowed to deport thousands of illegal aliens by sending U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to arrest those who have ignored final deportation orders, but halted his plan at the last minute, offering Democrats a two week window to come up with a solution.

The move largely angered his base, which is frustrated with the gridlock in Washington, D.C. on the issue of border security.

Big League Politics reported:

President Donald J. Trump has declared a national state of emergency, for which several heavily-blue states immediately sued his administration. Democrats refuse to budge on the issue, unwilling to secure America’s borders. As illegal border crossings surge, they blocked a meaningful amount of wall funding in the 2019 federal budget.

In what many conservatives see as a colossal failure, the Republican Congress, led by former Speaker Paul Ryan, current Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, failed to deliver wall funding to the president’s desk during all of 2017 and 2018, when Republicans held the House, the Senate, and the White House.
