Cornel West: Rule by 'Neoliberal Elite' Causing Struggle in Baltimore, 'in All These Cities'

Breitbart News interviews Dr. Cornel West ahead of CNN's second 2020 Democratic presidential debate in Detroit, MI, Wednesday. West told Breitbart News' Joel Pollak that he was supporting Bernie Sanders "all the way to the finish line." He agreed that America's inner cities are in bad shape but said President Donald Trump's rhetoric about the problem was "racist." He also agreed that Democrats needed more opposition in big cities and blamed the "neoliberal elite" of the party for neglecting urban Americans.
