Conservative Journalist Andy Ngo Recounts Vicious Assault By Antifa #Politics #RedPills

On Saturday, conservative journalist Andy Ngo, who reports for Quillette, was brutally beaten with fists and weapons and doused with milkshakes laced with quick-dry cement by the left-wing, domestic terrorist group Antifa. The attack left him hospitalized with damage to his face and a brain hemorrhage.

He was luckily released from the hospital Monday evening and seemed well enough to do an interview with Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson, where he recounted the attack.

Speaking slowly, possibly from the “neurological damage” Carlson told viewers he was suffering from, Ngo explained that he and the protesters “were a literal stone's throw away from Portland's most important institutions of the rule law, the courthouses, the sheriff's office, the central police precinct.” Despite that proximity, Portland police were nowhere to found when Ngo needed them most.

“While hearing people chant ‘No hate, no fear.’ I am suddenly bashed on the back of my head. From behind,” Ngo recalled. According to him, he had never really been in a fight before so it took him a little bit to respond. “When I realized what was happening, it was too late. A mob of people all dressed in black and wearing masks started beating me with their fists. And some of them use objects to hit me.”

Ngo said it felt like over a dozen of the violent leftists descended on him and when he tried to protect his face they intensified the assault, blinding him:

I don't know how many people were involved. It seemed like five, ten, 15, or 20. It could've been that many. They beat me so much that I lost control of my GoPro camera that it was holding, which was then stolen from me. And when I thought it was over, I was wrong. I put my arms up to try to shield my face as well as to signal to them that I was surrendering, and that I was not there to fight. But it really signaled to them to be more aggressive, so then they started dumping what I believe were milkshakes, and eggs, throwing it at my face. Which blinded me so I couldn’t see.

“Bleeding” and with no police aid, Ngo “eventually stumbled away” and basically collapsed in front of the courthouse. There, “a medic S.W.A.T. team,” told Ngo that he would have to wade back through the violent mob if he wanted to get to an ambulance.

After telling viewers that Ngo was “suffering neurological damage,” Carlson slammed CNN hosts Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon for their affinity for Antifa’s violence (Cuomo refused to mention the attack during his show Monday night):

Just to remind our viewers, this is the group that CNN's primetime anchors have defended and promoted. I saw that Andrew Yang, who’s running for president as a Democrat, bless him, attacked Antifa for this. Have you received any other support, very quickly, from any other Democratic officeholders in Portland or nationally?

Carlson also wished God to “bless” businessman and presidential candidate Andrew Yang because he was the only Democratic politician to condemn the attack against Ngo. He ended the program by saying what was probably on many viewers’ minds: “And Ngo, we’re happy that you’re at least capable of joining us tonight. It’s a shocking story. And enraging story. We wish you the best on your recovery and we hope you’ll come back. Thank you.”

Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson Tonight
July 1, 2019

TUCKER CARLSON: Andy Ngo is an independent journalist in the Pacific Northwest, he’s been on the show a number of times. He covers Antifa quite a bit. He was at an Antifa rally over the weekend minding his own business covering the news. He is a journalist. When he was beaten almost to death by Antifa. Wound up in the hospital. He just got out and joins us on this program. We’re happy to see him.

Andy, I am glad you’re capable of doing this interview. Tell us what happened.

ANDY NGO: On Saturday, documenting this protest, that was organized by Antifa and its allies, we were a literal stone's throw away from Portland's most important institutions of the rule law, the courthouses, the sheriff's office, the central police precinct.

While hearing people chant "No hate, no fear." I am suddenly bashed on the back of my head. From behind. And from there, I am a very passive person, I have never been in a fight, it took me a few seconds to realize that I was actually even hit in my head. When I realized what was happening, it was too late. A mob of people all dressed in black and wearing masks started beating me with their fists. And some of them use objects to hit me.

And I was kicked some more, punched some more. And all this time I kept thinking, where are the police? I could still see the Multnomah County Justice Center in front of me, but no police ever arrived. I eventually stumbled away. Bleeding. Across the park, and I lost my balance, so I sat down on the ground in front of the courthouse and from there, a medic S.W.A.T. team informed me that in order to get in an ambulance to be taken to a hospital, I would have to walk to the police precinct, in other words, walk back in the direction of the demonstrators who just attacked me.

Later that night after arriving in the emergency room, I had a CT scan which confirmed that I was diagnosed with a brain hemorrhage.

CARLSON: From which you’re suffering neurological damage.

NGO: Not that I know of.

CARLSON: Not that I know of. What? That tells you everything. And Ngo, we’re happy that you’re at least capable of joining us tonight. It’s a shocking story. And enraging story. We wish you the best on your recovery and we hope you’ll come back. Thank you.

NGO: Thank you.
