In Daily Mail Profile, Rapinoe Recommends Therapy For Her Fox News-Watching Parents #Politics #RedPills
An unbylined Daily Mail profile on the outrageous social justice warrior Megan Rapinoe paints people who watch Fox News as in need of therapy. Conservative folks, like Rapinoe's parents in California, need to get on board with the LGBT agenda and vote Democrat, too. Rapinoe is the professional soccer player who, last month, helped Team USA win the women's World Cup soccer championship while stirring up a storm of controversy in the process.
American media universally ate up everything Rapinoe dished out before and during the World Cup, especially the insults she booted President Trump's way.
One of many progressive, Trump-hating lesbian soccer players in the U.S. pro leagues, Rapinoe told the Daily Mail she grew up in a non-political home. She denounced her parents for watching Fox News and suspects that her dad, Jim Rapinoe, voted for Trump in 2016:
''I’m very similar to how they are, even though I think my dad voted for Trump.
'I’ll say: 'I don’t get it. How are you simultaneously as proud as punch of me, and watching Fox News all the time, [who are doing] takedowns of your daughter?' That’s why I’m like: 'You guys need to go to therapy."'
Megan Rapinoe says her parents ought to be progressives, especially her mom.:
"... I don’t get that they’re not. I’m always saying: 'You guys should really be Democrats!' But they’re not, so what’s happening?''
Last spring, Rapinoe announced that she would refuse to show proper respect to the U.S. flag during pregame national anthem renditions during the World Cup. She is a Colin Kaepernick social justice devotee who blubbers about inequality and police brutality. The protest would be her "big F-you to Trump," she said at the time. During the World Cup, she said that if the U.S. team won the world championship she would not go to any "f-----g" White House celebration.
In a tweet, President Trump responded that she should win the World Cup first before talking about visiting the White House. He also invited the team to the White House whether it won the World Cup or not. Trump's words were painted by American media and Rapinoe as raging anger. Rapinoe was given a pass for picking a fight with, and angrily denouncing, the president. She's still playing the role of victim, though she stirred up a hornet's nest and did not come off as the bigger person.
''It's ridiculous and absurd,'' she tells the Daily Mail of her war of words with Trump. ''People were like: 'That was so intense!' And I'm like: 'Honestly, he's a f*****g joke, so it wasn't intense, because this is ridiculous."'
Rapinoe also talked to the Daily Mail about her parents' reaction to her sprinting out of the closet as a lesbian. The Daily Mail:
"She said that her parents had anxiety tied to her sexuality after she came out while studying at the University of Portland. They often struggled with both her sexuality and that of her sister Rachael — who is also an out lesbian."
An intolerant, my-way-or-the-highway progressive, Rapinoe explained, ''I was like: 'You guys need to get on board or get out.' We had some tense times, but it came down to, 'You’re either in this or not.'"
