NBC's Kelly O'Donnell Pushes Back on MSNBC Anchor's Racist Trump Inference #Politics #RedPills
MSNBC anchor Ayman Mohyeldin's assertion that President Donald Trump is a racist who would prefer immigration from "Nordic countries" rather than from ethnic minorities drew a pushback from O'Donnell on Monday morning as you can see.
AYMAN MOHYELDIN: We know the President has always had a preference for immigrants from Nordic countries. He’s made that very clear as opposed to other more disadvantaged countries. Walk us through the impact on these immigrants. Why now?
And now the pushback from O'Donnell.
KELLY O'DONNELL: That is something where I’m not sure where you’re getting that from. He certainly said he has an emphasis on merit-based immigration. And he has talked about that extensively. So that matches up to his rhetoric.
O'Donnell wasn't defending Trump. She was insisting on reporting from the public record instead of echoing liberal trash talk. This pushback continued on twitter. First Mohyeldin cited a tweet from celebrity chef Colicchio supporting his premise.
Thanks @tomcolicchio. There have been so many disparaging comments made about immigrants by this President, it’s understandable why this would have been forgotten. https://t.co/RUDQAxADS4

This was followed by another pushback from O'Donnell just three minutes later.
Of course I know the reference but there is a difference between something said in private meeting and today’s actual public policy proposal I try to stick to what we can report and not a flip comment.

Apparently one of them was acting in a professional manner. Care to take a guess which one it was?
