Gross, MSNBC: Trump 'Fluffs MyPillow in Rose Garden' Corona Talk #Political

https://bit.ly/3az2Y7B

Not "everybody," Joe . . .

On today's Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough said "everybody was attacking this My Pillow guy," Mike Lindell, regarding his appearance at President Trump's press conference. Not "everybody," Joe. Most Americans surely welcomed Lindell's presence, and his pledge to produce 50,000 masks.

It was your fellow Trump-hating elitists, including your NBC network [and even your own wife--see this article], who were doing the mocking.

An MSNBC graphic mocked, "Trump fluffs My Pillow in Rose Garden coronavirus talk." To their credit, Scarborough and Willie Geist did go on to express appreciation for Lindell's pledge to produce 50,000 masks.

Said Scarborough: "we as Americans should salute anybody doing" what Lindell is, in terms of producing masks. Willie Geist expressed a similar sentiment, saying, "if Mike Lindell, the founder of My Pillow, takes 75% of his manufacturing ability right now, God bless him . . . If he wants to help, I’m all for it."

Here's the transcript.

JOE SCARBOROUGH: This My Pillow guy, everybody was attacking this My Pillow guy. Here’s my thought. If you’re going to make 50,000 masks and give them to doctors and nurses on the front lines in New York City, I’m fine with you going up. You can talk about Jesus, you can talk about, like, Mohammed, you can talk about the Pittsburgh Steelers, you can talk about Jon Bon Jovi if you want to. If you’re making 50,000 masks, then yeah, go ahead. Say whatever you want to say. Just get the masks to the people on the front line, and we as Americans should salute anybody doing that. I’m not making 50,000 masks.

WILLIE GEIST: Yeah.

SCARBOROUGH: I'm not making 50,000 masks. If I had the capability to make 50,000 masks, I’d like to make 50,000 masks. I can’t. That guy can. I salute him.

GEIST: Yeah. I actually had the same thought watching that. Is it unconventional and weird? Of course it is. It's President Trump. That horse left the barn about four years ago. But, if you’re willing to stand up there, whether you’re Ford, or GE, or My Pillow, and you want to help in this effort, and if Mike Lindell, the founder of My Pillow, wants to take 75% of his manufacturing capability right now and make 50,000 masks, God bless him. We can live without the speech, we can live without all those CEOs getting up and plugging their companies. But if they’re helping, if they're in the fight on this, I think the idea that you mock those people — of course, he pops up, you recognize him from the ad. You go: what is the My Pillow guy doing here? If he wants to help, I’m all for it.
