Cuomo Blames Trump for Cain’s Death, Claims Pres. Feels No Remorse #Political

Chris Cuomo was the same CNN talking head who callously and half-wittedly mocked coronavirus testing with brother, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) back in May, while he was facing criticism over his foolish decision to pack coronavirus patients into nursing homes (and was facing bipartisan calls for an investigation). But during Thursday’s PrimeTime, the former Cuomo blamed President Trump for the death of conservative businessman and former presidential candidate Herman Cain  from the virus, even claiming the President felt no remorse for his friend's death.

After declaring Trump the “splendid marriage of ignorance and arrogance,” Cuomo noted that the virus had claimed Cain. And seemingly talking down a rabid CNN audience, Cuomo explained that they wished him peace. “Yes, he supported the President. The President says he was a good friend of his. We wish his family well, and we wish that he rest in peace,” he said.

Without evidence, he then blamed the President and his “maskless masses” at the Tulsa, Oklahoma rally for killing Cain:

And I wish that this President have no peace, until he thinks about what he's exposing people to. He didn't even mention that Mr. Cain was at his rally among the maskless masses, right before he was diagnosed. Now, maybe, he didn't get it there. Sure as hell didn't help.

May Herman Cain rest in peace. He fell ill, not long after that rally in June. The one in Tulsa, Oklahoma. You see him not wearing a mask,” Cuomo chided despite the fact there was no evidence that Cain contracted the virus at the rally. Cain’s team has said he traveled around the country before falling ill.

Cuomo was back at it again several minutes later. This time, however, he suggested that despite Trump’s condolences to Cain’s family, he really didn’t care. “The President doesn't get it. And he dealt another blow to the rest of us today, when he had to deal with the loss of one of his friends to coronavirus. But how he explained it, what he didn't say,” Cuomo huffed.

He added: “The President said nothing about how the death changed how he feels about this pandemic. No sense of urgency.”

Now, the criticism and outcry against Cuomo for his ghoulish proclamations came hard and fast. The following hour on Fox News, Ingraham Angle host Laura Ingraham called out the “ugliness in the wake of his [Cain’s] death,” and dubbed Cuomo’s comments “one of the more disgusting takes.”

“Implying evidence of cause of death without any evidence,” she said to former Arkansas Governor, Cain's friend, and fellow former GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee.

“This is just painful to watch. If Chris Cuomo wants to dress someone down about COVID, why didn't he talk to his brother whose stupid decision about nursing homes killed thousands of people, including the parents-in-law one of my dear friends that you and I both know and love, Janice Dean,” Huckabee blasted the mentally lacking Cuomo.

Cuomo’s ghoulish blame game was made possible because of lucrative sponsorships from T-Mobile, Infiniti, and ClearChoice. Their contact information is linked so you can let them know what they’re funding.

CHRIS CUOMO: Why does Trump think he can do whatever he wants? Because he is a splendid marriage of ignorance and arrogance. It's all about the me, zero about the we.

The virus is, rapidly, swallowing us. All colors, all stripes, all creeds. It just took a former presidential candidate, Herman Cain. Yes, he supported the President. The President says he was a good friend of his. We wish his family well, and we wish that he rest in peace.

And I wish that this President have no peace, until he thinks about what he's exposing people to. He didn't even mention that Mr. Cain was at his rally among the maskless masses, right before he was diagnosed. Now, maybe, he didn't get it there. Sure as hell didn't help.

CUOMO: The President doesn't get it. And he dealt another blow to the rest of us today, when he had to deal with the loss of one of his friends to coronavirus. But how he explained it, what he didn't say. This time, we all know former presidential candidate Herman Cain. He died way too young, from coronavirus, just in his 70s. So many years in front of him. The President said nothing about how the death changed how he feels about this pandemic. No sense of urgency.
