NEW NewsBusters Podcast: Stelter's Latest Call to Get Tucker Cancelled #Political
On Sunday's Reliable Sources, CNN host Brian Stelter organized another session in demanding Fox News cancel Tucker Carlson's show or perhaps the entire channel should be cancelled by cable providers. The whole first half-hour of the show was an attack on Fox News, as if these attacks are going to help CNN in the ratings.
First, Stelter turned to Jonathan Greenblatt, head of the Anti-Defamation League, who insisted Carlson was a white supremacist menace who had to be removed from Fox:

Then Stelter turned to CNN analyst Amanda Carpenter (a former conservative turned incessant Trump hater) and Washington Post reporter Philip Bump. Carpenter insisted "immigration and voting rights, it all goes together in a powerful nationalist way that Republicans should reject. But if you let the strongest voices in the room like Tucker control the conversation, it's only going to get more radical." She claimed Fox is so desperate for younger viewers that they are seeking out "people that are addicted to Donald [Trump] Reddit threads and adopting that kind of language."
Many people isolated the part of the show when Stelter and Matt Gertz of Media Matters fussing about how Fox stars hadn't made "vaccine selfies" for social media, and how Fox News has a "special responsibility" to sell the vaccine, since its viewers are kinda backwards and only believe Fox.
