On the latest NewsBusters Podcast: The Monday morning shows were a bad neighborhood for Team Biden. "Saigon on steroids," proclaimed normally supportive George Stephanopoulos on ABC. NBC's Savannah Guthrie pressed Biden national security adviser Jake Sullivan on how Biden insisted there would be no dramatic collapse of the Afghan government.
This was much tougher than the network evening newscasts on ABC, CBS, and NBC have been on the border crisis. Rich Noyes found only four minutes and 20 seconds of Southern border coverage in the entire month of July, despite the fact that border "encounters" with illegal immigrants increased again to a 21-year high.
