NewsBusters Podcast: Biden's Bad Polls and Worse Lies #Political
The pro-Biden media is trying not to panic as their own polls show Biden is not only losing to Donald Trump, he's losing on ethical behavior in the wake of the latest Hunter Biden indictment. When asked about the Biden family business, the president claims it's all "lies" that he met with his son's business clients.
On NBC, New York Times political analyst Jonathan Martin seemed angry as he asserted: "Find me the Biden White House adviser who's going to go to the boss and say, 'We need a new strategy about your son.'" NBC's Kelly O'Donnell added "There isn't one." Martin underlined it: "They’re not going to have that conversation."
When the media either can't find the lying Biden clip denying any interactions with Hunter's clients, you know the president could say why should I change strategies? Media laziness lets him keep lying. But the polls showing people feel Biden has done either something illegal or something unethical should get more emphasis.
CNN's John Avlon hosts a haughty little morning segment called "Reality Check." But he didn't seem in touch with reality when he insisted on HBO: “Biden's got a good story to tell about the economy. It is objectively true that our country is better off economically than we were certainly three years ago and it's not just because of the pandemic.”
ABC and CBS were both worrying out loud that Muslim voters weren't going to vote for Biden after he strongly backed Israel against Hamas terrorists. Dearborn's Muslim mayor, Abdullah Hamoud, said Biden's response to the war "lacked empathy." He said "the unfortunate reality, there's been a callousness." Compared to the slaughter Hamas perpetrated on October 7?
