NewsBusters Podcast: A Giant Controversy for a QB to Introduce Trump? #Political
New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart spent half a minute last week introducing President Trump at a rally in the suburbs outside New York City, and somehow became Public Enemy #1 to the Left.
He didn't gush over the president as awesome. He only said he was pleased to introduce him, but that was apparently stupid and racist, if you listen to Joy Behar on The View. MRC Video creators Nick Kangadis and Justine Brooke Murray joined the show to discuss this and other cultural topics they've been tackling.
The media adore political athletes when they land on the radical left, like former San Francisco 49er quarterback Colin Kaepernick kneeling to protest the police during the national anthem. He washed out of the NFL, but was richly rewarded with a Nike contract for his advocacy of "social justice."
Dart seemed to receive more negative judgment than Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs, who's being investigated by the police in Green Bay on charges of domestic violence. While no charges have been filed, the potential crime is more serious than saying "here's the president."
Speaking of Democrats protesting the police, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz was celebrating George Floyd on Memorial Day. He was scheduled for a Memorial Day event at nearby Fort Snelling, but he didn't make it. In New Jersey, Gov. Mikie Sherrill was part of a Memorial Day protest at Delaney Hall, a detention center for illegal immigrants. Except Democrats never say "illegal," unless they're describing ICE. They call illegal aliens "our immigrant neighbors."
New Jersey also has a radical Muslim candidate for Congress named Adam Hamawy, who associated with the terrorist "Blind Sheikh" Omar Abdel Rahman and now appears to have served in Bosnia in the 1990s for a group affiliated with al-Qaeda. The networks don't have any desire to report these story lines, just like radical Muslim candidate for Senate Abdul al-Sayed in Michigan, who invited Twitch streamer Hasan Piker to a campaign event. Piker has proclaimed that America deserved 9/11 and celebrated October 7, but our media treat him gently, like all the other pro-Hamas leftists. We also discuss:
-- Abortion is not a dirty word, says Planned Parenthood. They don’t like you saying it should be legal and rare. Casey Anthony is the latest pro-abortion influencer.
-- Country singer Natalie Maines of "The Chicks" (formerly the Dixie Chicks) ranted on Instagram that President Trump is a "fugly slut." Reporters act outraged when Trump calls a reporter hogging the mic a "piggy," but you can apparently call Trump anything and it's not outrageous, including Hitler.
-- London's Daily Mail reported a trans woman exposed “her pre-op privates” at a gym. He put the "member" in membership.
