Another List of Demands From Another Kavanaugh Accuser

An attorney for the second accuser of alleged sexual misconduct by Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is demanding an FBI probe into her allegations.

“The attorney representing Deborah Ramirez, who has accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault, says his client is willing to testify to the Senate Judiciary Committee, but only after the FBI investigates the alleged incident,” according to a Tuesday report.

According to the attorney, John Clune, the Senate Judiciary Committee has not agreed to such an investigation, leaving the two parties at an impasse. Thus she has not been invited to testify.

“She would be willing to testify, but we can’t even talk with the Senate Judiciary Committee about what that would look like, and they certainly haven’t invited her,” he said on “Today” Wednesday morning. “So, at this point, it’s a moot question.”

Further, the report said that Ramirez has refused to comply with the Committee’s process of even discussing a hearing.

“The Ramirez legal team has declined to comply with the committee’s established process and investigation and seem to prefer working through the media,” an Committee aide told the Washington Examiner.

Clune blasted the entire process proposed by the Committee.

“We don’t go straight to trial and skip the investigation process,” he reportedly said. “We have a process that’s set up on how to do the background investigations into potential candidates for the U.S. Supreme Court and to cheat that process is going to end up with an unintelligent outcome.”

But Democrats have been adamant that since there is no criminal proceeding, Kavanaugh does not deserve due process or the presumption of innocence. It seems that they cannot make up their minds.

Kavanaugh’s first accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, said she would not testify before the Committee without an FBI investigation, but is scheduled to testify Thursday.
