Lindsey Graham defends Kavanaugh, blasts Dems' behavior

During his questioning of Judge Kavanaugh, which was less a questioning than a calling out of the Dems’ despicable handling of the procedures, Senator Lindsey Graham (RSC) may have delivered the most memorable words of his career.

Graham commiserated with Kavanaugh saying: “This is not a job interview . . . This is hell.” And to the Republicans Graham thundered: “If you vote no, you’re legitimizing the most despicable thing I have seen in my time in politics.” 

Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders tweeted: "@LindseyGraham has more decency and courage than every Democrat member of the committee combined. God bless him.”

@LindseyGrahamSC’s words are reminiscent of the hero’s in Charles Dickens’ A Tale of Two Cities: "It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done.” Let’s hope and pray that Senator Graham continues to support what’s good for the American people while we do the same.
