Schism among Coup Plotters: Team Rosenstein vs. Team McCabe

Screen Shot 2018 09 26 at 11.30.24 AMAn article on the front page of The Conservative Treehouse today posted by sundance explains an apparent schism between anti-Trump coup operatives in the DOJ and FBI.

According to sundance, there are “two warring camps”:

--Team Rosenstein consisting of current officials: Jeff Sessions, Dana Boente and others

--Team McCabe consisting of former officials: Lisa Page, James Baker and others.

Stories published--or omitted--in The Washington Post and The New York Times about these respective teams can be better understood knowing that WaPo is Team Rosenstein’s vehicle for disseminating their narrative, and NYT is Team McCabe’s vehicle.

This distinction also helps clarify last week’s conflicting stories published in numerous outlets, including Corsi Nation, regarding Rosenstein’s resignation although all outlets now seem to agree that President Trump is meeting Rosensein on Thursday.

“Both Andrew McCabe and Rod Rosenstein took corrupt and illegal action to try and take down the President, according to sundance. But McCabe et al.’s operations were intended to effect a coup while Rosenstein “was more of a . . . useful idiot in the grand scheme.”

Sundance also attests that President Trump and the White House do not want Rosenstein to resign over his "intentional efforts" to depose a sitting president and/or his "ineptitude." At least not yet. Regarding the mess Rosenstein made, they want him to "clean it the hell up!!," as sundance puts it.
