Fringe Leftist Conspiracy Theorists Run Wild As Evidence-Free #MAGABomber Trends
Many fringe conspiracy theorists on the left are pushing nonsense blaming President Donald J. Trump for the suspicious explosive devises sent to CNN, Hillary R. Clinton, Barack H. Obama, among others.
Their primary vehicle for pushing such conspiracy theories has been the #MAGABomber hashtag on Twitter, which has trended all afternoon, despite a hint of evidence that Trump inspired any of this. In fact, as BLP reported and Twitter users noticed, there is more evidence pointing to bombing being related to Islamic terrorism. The ISIS flag was on the side of the device sent to CNN.
But that did not stop the political left – who has ground to make up before the November elections – from blaming Trump anyway.
“Whoever the #MAGABomber (s) are, it’s clear that they are somehow connected to law enforcement. There is no way some random ‘lone wolf’ could simultaneously distribute that many explosives and stay off the radar of police without assistance,” said conspiracy theorist and black supremacist Tariq Nasheed.

According to Tariq, not only was a Trump supporter responsible, but there was more than one involved.
John Ziegler of fringe blog Mediaite got in on the action.
“It’s bad enough that Rush is now reduced to spewing crazy conspiracy theories with no evidence, but can’t he at least come up with one which makes a lick of sense?! #Cult45 #MAGABomber
Ziegler failed to see the irony in calling radio show host Rush Limbaugh a conspiracy theorist while himself spreading a conspiracy.
Washington Post and Guardian columnist Holly Figueroa O’Reilly couldn’t be bothered with even the most basic facts while spreading the conspiracy on her Twitter page.
“For those of you who are keeping track of the threats so far from the #MAGAbomber: Clintons, Obamas, Soros, Eric Holder, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, John Brennan, Maxine Waters, Andrew Cuomo. This is what radical right-wing terrorism looks like” she said.
Wasserman Shultz was not a target of any bombing. Rather, the packages all had her address as a return address, and the one meant for Holder was returned to the sender, which ended up being Schultz. Whether Cuomo even received a package has still not been confirmed. O’Reilly did not let those facts trounce her narrative.
“Whoever the #MAGABomber terrorist is, Trump is the spiritual mastermind. There is always time for unity, but this is a time for accountability,” said certified Trump-hater Eugene Gu.
Gu received notoriety only for trolling Trump’s Twitter account. What the “spiritual mastermind” comment means is anyone’s guess.
Make no mistake – Twitter has shut down hashtags before. They even banned Alex Jones for spreading “conspiracy theories,” using a violation of their terms of service as a pretext. But they have gladly let this fact-free hashtag play itself out. We are only two weeks out from an important midterm election. In the words of Chicago’s Rahm Emanuel, “never let a serious crisis go to waste.”
