President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump traveled to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center on Tuesday to visit with victims of the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting on Saturday that left 11 people dead.
President Trump met with four patients and their families at University Pittsburgh Medical Center, according to the hospital’s chief of emergency medicine, Donald Yealy.
Yealy told reporters that the President spent a considerable amount of time with each patient and their family members.
Pittsburgh resident Sheryl Mascio captured a behind-the-scenes moment of President Trump, first lady Melania, daughter Ivanka, and son-in-law Jared Kushner in the halls of the Pittsburgh medical center, who stopped to thank the doctors and nurses who were tending to the victims.
